A Little Cracked - Hand Painted Kintsugi plate

This plate was a little cracked, but aren't we all!

I have repaired this broken plate using the Japanese method called Kintsugi, this art of repairing pottery with gold imbues an understanding that the piece is even more beautiful for having been broken.

The vintage plates I use are already badly cracked or broken - I do not break them on purpose so this range will be very limited.

The 'A little cracked' text has been hand painted (with a tiny brush!) and heat set in quality German porcelain ceramic paint. I recommend display use only, as the gold (and the plate!) is very fragile.

These plates look so cute as a piece of wall art or displayed on a shelf amongst your other treasures! This one would be a perfect gift for a special friend or a lovely treat for yourself.

The plate is 14cm diameter with a gorgeous original floral decal and gilt detailing. It comes complete with a brass plate hanger for display.
